I’ve spent more time than I’d care to admit in search of the best swimsuits for big boobs, and if you’re reading this, I would imagine that you feel my pain.
Why must it be so difficult?! Traditional “small, medium, large” sizing is an actual JOKE if you’re larger than a D cup. As a 32DD (sometimes 32F) “large” tops might as well be nipple covers on me, so I no longer even bother to try them on.
However, after a LOT of trial and error, I’ve found several brands that design supportive fuller bust bikinis, swimwear with underwire, swimsuits by cup size (the DREAM), D cup swimsuits, and labels that specifically cater to us chesty ladies.
(I also have a post on the best sports bras for large breasts and the strapless bra that changed my life ICYMI!)
The fuller bust bikinis on my list are almost all sized as separates (thank GOD) so you no longer have to worry about whether your top and bottom are the same size. Spoiler alert: they never are.
I also turned to my fellow busty followers on Instagram for their input on swim brands for larger busts, and I’ve included many of their suggestions here as well. I’ll continue to add to this list as I discover new big boob-friendly brands.

Best Swimsuits for Big Boobs
Two Piece Swimsuits
Best Bikini Overall: Monday Swimwear Sorrento Top
If you’re in need of swimsuits for large busts, look no further than Monday Swimwear. In fact, this is one of my favorite swimwear brands, which was founded by influencers Devin Brugman and Natasha Oakley after they discovered a need for swimsuits that accommodate fuller chests.
I know that underwire bras and swimsuits have a not-so-great reputation but I can confirm that this particular top is insanely comfy. It flaunts demi shaped underwire cups that are unpadded, and the white fabric is double lined so it isn’t see through. The adjustable straps are soft yet fully supportive —so you can do everything from lounge on the beach to run with your kids.
Best Underwire Bikini Top: Victoria’s Secret Sexy Tee Push-Up Bikini
Let’s be honest: underwire bikini tops get a really bad rap. While I know they aren’t always the *most* comfortable option, there are still plenty that don’t dig into your skin or leave marks.
That’s definitely the case with this bright pink top, which has insanely good reviews and goes up to cup size F. The push-up padding provides a decent amount of lift (aka support) and it features a G-hook closure that will keep everything locked into place.
If the pink hue is too bright for you, it also comes in a variety of neutrals as well as some other fun colors.
Best Bikini for Big Boobs With a Small Band Size: Abercrombie Curve Love Underwire Bikini
I can’t tell you how much I am loving Abercrombie’s swim selection. In fact, they have an entire category dedicated to swimsuits within their curve love collection (which you can easily find on their site by clicking here) and almost all of the suits are available in tops designed for cups D-F.
Not to mention, the bathing suits are a shockingly attainable price. I’m talking under $60. I’ve always associated “cheap” with “unsupportive” but Abercrombie has truly proved me wrong time and time again.
In my experience, the sizing can sometimes be a little off. So I’ll usually order a few different sizes and return whatever doesn’t fit since they have a generous return policy.
Best Sweetheart Neckline Bikini: Freya Jewel Cove Bikini
Freya is another go-to when shopping for swimwear for big boobs because they offer a huge range of sizes — all the way up to J cups! When you have a lot to flaunt up top, you might think a sweetheart neckline bikini is out of the cards, but this bikini top proves otherwise.
It’s perfect for more active occasions, like kayaking, paddle boarding, or actually swimming since it has underwire support. It also comes with adjustable straps which you can use to convert it to a racerback style bikini.
Best Lifting Bikini: Panache Anya Riva Balconette Top
Sometimes having bigger boobs calls for a bit of….well…lift. That’s where this bikini top comes in handy. It boasts an impressive size range, but it’s important to note that this brand shares UK sizing, so be sure to refer to the fit chart when selecting your top. This means that this swimsuit comes in cup sizes that actually range from a U.S. DD all the way up to O.
If you need more convincing to give this top a try, these reviews might help:
“Great top for 36G and I love that the straps go over the outer shoulder, which not only makes it comfortable but also hides the pouch of skin by the underarm (large busted ladies you know what I mean!)”
“We who have larger boobs come in all kinds of band sizes and standard sizing simply doesn’t cut it. Anyway, this swimsuit does. It’s supportive, extremely comfortable, flattering (doesn’t look like a bra either), and provides enough coverage for me to feel confident.”
Best Plus Size Bikini: Yonique Tummy Control Swimsuit
Searching for swimwear can become extremely frustrating when brands aren’t size inclusive. Add in the challenge of shopping for swimwear for large breasts and things can only get more difficult. Surprisingly, Amazon has one of the most highly-rated plus size bikini options (leave it to Amazon, right?)
This high-waisted duo boasts over 8,600 reviews, most of which are glowing. It’s available in a size small all the way to 28 plus, it comes in a ton of color options, and it’s under $30. What’s not to love? Buyers note that they love the removable cups and adjustable straps, and of them noting that they went back and ordered the suit in multiple colors.
Best Wide-Set Bikini Top: Cuup Balconette Bikini
This new-to-me brand has been very popular on the internet lately, and for good reason. The wide-set strap design on this top makes it a great choice for those who have broad shoulders. It also provides great coverage to the little area between your arm and armpit (no bulging here!)
Aside from the fit and generous range of sizes, the fabric is fade, sunscreen, salt water, and chlorine-proof. It’s also made it UPF 50 material so you can lounge in the sun worry-free (but as always, don’t forget your SPF.)
Best Tankini Top: Sunsets Forever Underwire Tankini
Prefer to keep things covered with a tankini? If so, this is the swimsuit option for you. Going up to band size 40 and cup size H, this pick has an underwire design that’s lightweight yet supportive. It has removable foam inserts and soft and ultra-stretchy adjustable straps.
I personally like that it has a subtle v-neck design (which makes it look less old lady-ish.) Here are a couple of reviews that spill more details:
“I have a large chest (36G) and this swim top gives me support, coverage, and it’s flattering. I bought the black and I’m going to buy another one in a different color or pattern.”
“I’m a natural 38DDD, but not plus size. I ordered this assuming it would not fit (as most don’t for me) but this suit is AMAZING! It fits perfectly on top and is very supportive!”
One-Piece Swimsuits
Best Scoop Neck Swimsuit: Monday Corsica One Piece
I swear that this brand has the cutest one piece bathing suits. As soon as I order one, I see another on their website that I want to add to my cart. They’re so timeless, high quality, and have great tummy control. I also own this exact one piece and always recommend it to people.
Despite having a scoop neckline, the thicker straps help to hold up your gals with ease. From cup sizes A to F, this pick is truly made with everyone in mind.
Best Compression Swimsuit: Andie The Tulum One-Piece
A little compression can go a long way —and this bright yet classic swimsuit is made with smoothing fabric that will truly hold you in all day. It’s designed with a cross strap back, which offers maximum bust support. It also has removable cups so you can tailor your fit.
The swimsuit comes in nine colors, including a smooth and ribbed fabric. Plus, it features an under-bust seam to really lock everything into place. Reviewers note that it’s tight in all the right places (while still maintaining unmatched comfort) and appreciate that it comes in both classic and long torso size options.
Best Budget-Friendly Swimsuit: Cupshe V-Neck Swimsuit
You’ve likely come across the Cupshe swimsuit brand while scrolling through your social media, and honestly, it is totally worth the hype. For under $40, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of this swimsuit. More to love: The sheer yet supportive neckline (no nip slips here!), pretty burnt orange color (it comes in other colors as well), and range of sizes, which go up to 3XL.
This review pretty much says it all….
“Wow. Did not expect this one piece to be as amazing as it is. I always hold my breath ordering clothes online but I saw this suit recommended in a very positive way by other reviewers. What a genuinely flattering suit. I’m 5’7, 190 lbs and all my “extra” is evenly distributed but this suit fits me everywhere. Tummy control is great and my girls are secure and comfortable.”
Best Wrap Swimsuit: Summersalt The Perfect Wrap One Piece
The built-in soft cups on this find create the ideal compromise for those who don’t love an underwire swimsuit but need some extra support. The wrap detailing also adds such a sweet and feminine touch, and it helps give you a cinched waist.
Tie the bow as tightly or loosely as you want for a customized fit (and yes, it stays in place throughout the day!)
Best Cup Size One-Piece: Boden Capri Swimsuit
Don’t let this photo fool you, this swimsuit accommodates cup sizes A through E, and is known to be one of the brand’s most lifting and supportive options.
The padded, fixed cups ensure that you get the coverage you need while the fun print and ruched, tie-front design add an element of fun (supportive swimsuits don’t have to be bland.) The suit also has an underwire design so you can enjoy your pool or beach day without worrying about keeping your gals in place.
Best Slimming Swimsuit: Miraclesuit Underwire One-Piece
If you need extra support in the boob department but you also want something that’s known to be slimming, Miraclesuit is a tried-and-true favorite. The innovative fabric offers triple holding power, all while smoothing and slimming the midriff section.
Up top, the built-in, double-layer underwire cups provide great shape and plenty of support. And yes, this pick is definitely on the pricier side but reviewers have noted that it’s a great investment piece (one that they likely wish they had bought sooner.)
Best Ruched Swimsuit: La Blanca Island Goddess One Piece
With over 600 4.5-star reviews, this one piece from La Blanca is a no-brainer if you’re looking for a simple swimsuit. Reviewers note that it has a highly flattering fit and say that it’s a great basic to have in your closet. They also mention that the fabric is particularly forgiving and stretchy, and that the top section holds you in (and up) surprisingly well.
